Josh Rosebrook has quite a long history in hair and skin care. At the age of 10, using an old barber chair he found in the basement of his home in Portland, Oregon, he started cutting, styling, and coloring his friends hair. By the time he was a teenager, his interest in reading product labels and experimenting with different ingredients on his own skin began. In his 20's, he had moved to Los Angeles and was working in high-end salons.
