Description

Punctuated Equilibrium is a theory popularized by the late Stephen Jay Gould to explain the absence of transitional forms in the fossil record, which are predicted by Darwinian evolution, as well as "stasis" - the fact that species in the fossil record remain largely unchanged for long periods in the fossil record rather than showing transitions.

This symposium explores how anatomical knowledge was produced across the global pre-modern world into the present through four speaker presentations. Presentations will last one hour with time for a question-and-answer session with the each of the speakers. A Medieval Surgeon’s Anatomy. Made In Japan is the third album by Japanese rock band Flower Travellin' Band, released in 1972. After meeting Lighthouse at the Expo '70 festival in Osaka, Flower Travellin' Band were invited to visit Canada.
