Starting Over is the fourth studio album by the 1970s power pop band Raspberries It peaked at 143 on the Billboard pop album chart in 1974 The LP generated.

Starting Over featured a new line-up, with Scott McCarl (Bass, Vocals), and Michael McBride (Drums), who had drummed with Carmen and Bryson in their previous band in the late 60's, Cyrus Erie. Raspberries is the debut album from the Raspberries, released in 1972 (see 1972 in music). It was their second-highest charting LP, reaching on the Billboard album chart, but spent more weeks on the chart than all of their other albums combined. The American version of this LP carried a scratch and sniff sticker with a strong raspberry scent. It contained two charting singles, "Don't Want to Say Goodbye," which reached and their biggest hit, "Go All the Way," which reached #5.

The diversity, ambition and polish of Starting Over indicated that much like Side 3, this album was an effort to set aside the "bubblegum popmeisters" tag that had been unfairly hung on the Raspberries after their debut LP, though rather than showing how hard they could rock, this disc was supposed to demonstrate how clever and creative they were. While there's no arguing Starting Over was the work of a very smart and gifted band, anyone who had been listening to their work already knew that. Still, it's a fine farewell from one of the best American pop bands of their era,.
