A follow-up to the original tribute records on Trojan includes Marley covers and tracks inspired by him from a range of artists (many personal friends) including Jacki Mittoo, Ken Boothe, Augustus Pablo, the Heptones, Lee Perry, Andrew Tosh and U Roy.

Tribute To Bob Marley was originally released on the Top Ranking International label in 1981, soon after the Wailer’s death in May, and provided an outstanding cut on Horace Andy's Exclusively album set issued the following year in London by Solid Groove.

Tribute to the Legend: Bob Marley is an album by the Puerto Rican reggae band, Cultura Profética. The album is a live performance of a tribute the band held to Jamaican reggae singer Bob Marley. The album was recorded on February 4, 2006, at the Tito Puente Amphitheatre in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and was released on May 8, 2007. As a reggae band, Cultura Profética have always been fans of Bob Marley's music.
