To accompany the album announcement, Bon Iver dropped two new songs titled Faith and Jelmore. In a press statement, Bon Iver explained how the project came together: Recording over a long time at April Base in Wisconsin but finishing at Sonic Ranch in Texas allowed us to feel confident, comfortable, and completely free of distraction. The group originally consisted of Beverly Beecham (one the left with the bouffant), Vivian Wyler (middle), Marie Samuels (with the glasses) and Roberta Long (not pictured).
