Live at the Royal Albert Hall is the second live album and video by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon. It was recorded on 22 April 2016 at the Royal Albert Hall, with accompaniment from the Parallax Orchestra conducted by Simon Dobson. The album was released on 2 December 2016 through the crowdfunding platform PledgeMusic, with all proceeds being donated to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Marie Belston joined me on this week's show to talk about and play must connected with the city's celebration of diversity Exeter Respect. In the second half, we featured the excellent duo Tobias ben Jacob (vocals, guitar) and Lukas Drinkwater (vocals, double bass). They gave us three songs and talked about their current UK tour. And they were great! Apologies for lapses in sound quality (mainly speech).

Lukas also comes to the fore live with his jokes and banter between songs. But it’s together that Jakob and Drinkwater shine brightest, a synergy of two musicians perfectly complimenting each other. Unsurprisingly they bring to mind other lauded guitar/double bass duos, particularly John Martyn and Danny Thompson. But much of the magic has been captured on their excellent CD Live at Hope Hall (recorded and mixed by Mike Tucker), which is highly recommended and can be bought from their Bandcamp page. Jacob and Drinkwater’s unusually early gig was part of an excellent series of ‘Brunch Barnstormer’ folk concerts at The Riverhouse – a beautifully converted 19th-century barn – in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.

Tobias ben Jacob is a Devon based alternative Singer-Songwriter hailing originally from Preston. This June saw the release of new seven- track EP 'The St Sidwells Session' recorded live on location at a Grade II listed church in Exeter. The EP was conceived as a precursor to a more studio based album planned later in the year and its release was followed up with a sterling performance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. Recent live performances have been testament to a renewed vitality and honesty in the material, and an increasing creative mastery in the vocals and acoustic guitar.
