Eberhard Schoener biography Classicaly trained musician, Renowned arranger, director and keyboard player, Eberhard Schoener published a serie of adventurous electronic rock albums exploring the territories of kosmsische kraut-psychedelica, introspective new age, cinematic concrete ambient and pulsing minimal electro pop.

Eberhard Schoener (born May 13, 1938, Stuttgart) is a German musician, composer, conductor, and arranger. His activities combine many styles and formats. In the 1970s he traveled to Indonesia and incorporated musical elements from Asia into his own work. He has collaborated with rock musicians such as Jon Lord and The Police.

Listening to this, you know right away this is coming from the ideas of Eberhard Schoener, where he guides the Police guys to prog rock. It's so strange to hear Sting's unmistakable high-pitched voice on "Speech Behind Speech" with just Mellotron just plastered all over it. This is much closer to the Moody Blues than anything the Police would ever come up with, so if you're a Police fan, you might not find much of interest here, but if you happen to like prog, be prepared to be tripped out.

Eberhard Schoener is a german musician, composer and director. He made a lot of great albums. Eberhard Schoener has a classic music education. He studied the violin and conducted several orchestras. Later he discovered his love for electronic instruments like the Moog, Fairlight CMI, Mellotron and Oberheim. Besides conducting and recording albums he did many different projects, life events and also film music for some famous german TV crime serieses. Schoener often fuses very different music styles. Summers appears on several of Schoener's albums. The album Events was released 1980 on EMI Electrola. It is a great example of his ability to fuse different styles together to something entirely new.
