Good Evening Manchester (1985-1994) is a Finnish rock band. Original members were Patrik Dahlblom (guitar, vocals), Anders Korpi (guitar, vocals), Pekka Oinonen (drums) and Hanski Ramström (bass guitar). Niklas Dahlblom played drums from 1986 forward. Their first album, Man, came out in 1986 after they won a talent competition. Lyrics were in Swedish. In their later albums lyrics are in English.

Good Evening is a 1989 album by Marshall Crenshaw. Although critically well-received, it failed to chart. The disc's eerie, dramatic opening track, "You Should've Been There", has a longer intro on this album than on Rhino's compilation, This Is Easy: The Best of Marshall Crenshaw. The album includes the first commercial release of the Diane Warren song "Some Hearts", which became a hit in 2005 in a version by country singer Carrie Underwood.

Good Evening Manchester were an alternative rock band from the Åland Islands. Active from the mid-'80s through the early '90s, they debuted in 1986 as a quartet - Patrik Dahlblom and Anders Korpi, drummer Niklas Dahlblom, and bassist Hans-Erik Ramström - with a self-titled EP released on the small Kustrock label. After that, the band signed to major-label CBS in their home country, and their lyrics switched from Swedish to English. Learning to Sing, their debut album, was released in 1988.
