While Shepherds Watch is a collection of traditional holiday songs from English parish churches and chapels. Covering the years 1740-1830, these songs have a traditional feel about them that even the most familiar tracks still tend to keep. Anyone looking to explore the history and tradition of these songs may want to give this album a listen; there are some interesting inclusions to be found here.
