A Bit Crusher is a Dutch electronic music artist. Although styles vary from soundscape to drum 'n bass, most of his music is beat-orientated. Apart from ca. 80 tracks and various remixes uploaded 5 of his tracks were officially released on various compilation CD's: Enter (2003) Sample and Hold (2004) A Very Unschooled Christmas (2004) /Dig/Feed/Shit (2005) West4East. org Volume 1 (2005) His latest project No Such Angel/The B-Sidewas released as a 7inch in August 2008.

The Crusher is the third full-length studio album by Swedish death metal band Amon Amarth. It was released on May 8, 2001, through Metal Blade Records. The album was also released on the Double LP and Picture LP versions on June 29, 2007, which were hand-counted and limited to only 500 copies. All lyrics written by Johan Hegg.

It’s a very digital sounding type of distortion which works well for a variety of mixing and sound design tasks. Slight amounts of bit reduction can make sampled drums sound more crunchy and crisp, an effect that’s reminiscent of old-school hardware drum samplers like the legendary E-mu SP-12
