The British glam rock band Hello first recorded the song in 1975, for their debut album, Keeps Us Off the Streets. By and large, the songs on New York Groove: The Best of Hello are catchy, but the performances are rather routine - not a surprise considering the studio polish that goes into producing bubblegum music.
