Return to previous page. Porcelain, released in 1989, was the multi-platinum follow up to Julia Fordham’s debut, self-titled album. It is the album that broke Julia in the US. It also features a brace of Adult Contemporary radio hits including ‘Manhattan Skyline’ which contributed to exposing Julia to a wider, international audience.

Notes by submitter:
– Disc One is the complete original album, including "Love Moves" which is missing from some early versions.
– Disc Two includes all non-album tracks and versions released on the original commercial singles off the album - except the alternate (piano & vocal) version of "Swept" (released on "I Thought It Was You" 1992 release, Pt1).
– Overall credits have "All songs written by Julia Fordham except (...)" but this is known not to be correct for 2-9, which is not listed in the exceptions.
– No production credits are listed for tracks 1-4, 1-5 & 1-9 in the overall credits section.
– No production credits are listed for tracks 2-6, 2-10 to 2-12.
– 2-1 & 2-8: Only song titles appear on the original singles, the versions are not specified.
– 2-9 "Melt": Short snippet from the beginning of track is missing.
– 2-12 "I Thought It Was You (New Piano/Vocal Mix)": Titled 'Exclusive New Mix' on the original release ("I Thought It Was You" 1992 release, Pt2), 'New Piano/Vocal Mix' only on the mock cardboard disc that came with Pt1.
– 1-11 "Tied": The dropout at the beginning (at 0:00) which appears on many (all?) versions of the album, has been fixed to some degree.

The track credits & lyrics section in the booklet has been typeset again, with some minor changes made to credits & lyrics (CD1):
