The Darlings have been going for quite a few years now, and have been releasing seven inch vinyl singles, as well as a mini-album on cd. Every release are today out of print and sold out, and they have been consistently gigging parts of Europe- building their fanbase. The crowds and halls have been getting bigger and better, and now they have released their debut album on precious ol& fashioned vinyl. Depressed is the third number, and the tempo is a little slower, with a catchy chorus and great guitar playing from Chris Damien Doll and Frankie Natchtnebel. The Glamour Punk pioneers, Trashcan Darlings was formed by Strange? Gentle and Chris Damien Doll in 1995 and broke up in December 2008. Their records recieved good responses from both the media and their decicated crowd of die-hard fans. Their earlier recordings which includes the singles "I Just Wanna Die", "Johnny Is A Drag-Queen" & "Holiday In My Head" are all extremely difficult to find nowadays. Trashcan Darlings first full-length album was released in 2002 and called "Episode 1 - The Lipstick Menace".
