Recorded live at Youth's Space Mountain Studio near Granada in Spain. This was done in summer 2008 during rehearsals for their upcoming tour. These are the first recordings of the original line-up since 1982. Track 7 is a typo for: Millennium.

After the release of Revelations in 1982, bassist Youth was replaced by Paul Raven. The band achieved mainstream success in 1985 with both the album Night Time and the single "Love Like Blood".

In 2008, Killing Joke released Duende - The Spanish Sessions and an album of radio session recordings, The Peel Sessions 1979-1981. The EP In Excelsis was released in 2010, and the following studio album, Absolute Dissent, was released in September 2010. On 2 April 2012, Killing Joke released their 15th studio album, MMXII on Spinefarm Records/Universal On 23 October 2015, the band released their 16th studio album, Pylon.
