Killin' Time (Gasolin' album). Killin' Time was recorded in the spring of 1977 and released in Denmark in the summer of 1978. In Sweden it was released as Tivoli. It was Gasolin's fourth and last album with English lyrics. Actually it was their last studio album release, although Gør det Noget was the last album they recorded. Killin' Time was produced by Felix Pappalardi because Gasolin' wanted someone who could produce an "American" sound so they could break the lucrative American market.
Killin' Time was recorded in the spring of 1977 and released in Denmark in the summer of 1978.
Gasolin' is the first album with English lyrics by rock band Gasolin' in an attempt to win the band recognition outside their native Denmark. It is almost identical to their third Danish album, Gasolin' 3 and was released in some Western European countries in the beginning of 1974 on CBS. It failed to make impact on the charts anywhere, but didn't stop Gasolin' from issuing three more albums in English in the period from 1974 to 1978.
Killing Time is the twelfth track off of American Heavy Metal band Metallica 's cover album Garage, Inc. disc two. Originally performed by the Northern Irish band Sweet Savage, not to be confused with the American band of the same name, it was first covered by Metallica on the B-side of the The Unforgiven single.
It was Gasolin's fourth and last album with English lyrics. However, Gasolin' was not satisfied with Pappalardi's mix and the record company would not release it in the USA because they did not believe that Killin' Time would sell.
Killing Time is the debut album by American experimental rock band Massacre. It was released in September 1981, through record label Celluloid. It consists of a compilation of recordings made at Martin Bisi's OAO studio in Brooklyn, New York City in June 1981, and live recordings taken from their April 1981 Paris concerts. The group disbanded shortly after, eventually reforming in 1998 with Charles Hayward replacing Maher on drums and further recording three more albums.
