Halloween is a live album by Frank Zappa, released in DVD-Audio format by Vaulternative Records in 2003. It features recordings compiled from various shows at The Palladium, New York City in late October 1978-including a Halloween show on October 31-along with some video content from the same period.

Frank Zappa's legendary Halloween NYC 1977 residency to be released as a massive Halloween 77 costume box set featuring 158 tracks on a USB drive in 24-bit audio, and retro Zappa mask and costume. By 1977, Frank Zappa’s Halloween shows were already the stuff of legends. While the shows began in the late ‘60s, around 1972, these monumental performances would become annual events, initially in Passaic, NJ and Chicago, IL before moving to New York City in 1974, where they’d remain. Zoot Allures features two of Zappa’s signature guitar pieces, Black Napkins & Zoot Allures. This 180-gram reissue was mastered and cut directly from the analog tape master by Bernie Grundman in 2017.

Frank Zappa loved Halloween and played six shows in . over the course of four nights in 1977. The set lists were largely the same from show to show, and this three-CD set is essentially a distillation of those shows to a single show over the course of the three discs. This is the band that recorded Sheik Yerbouti, featuring Adrian Belew and Terry Bozzio, and the musicians turn in great performances every night.
