Big Head Todd and the Monsters are a rock band formed in 1984 in Colorado. The band has released a number of albums since 1989 with their 1993 album Sister Sweetly going platinum in the United States. The band has developed a sizable live following especially in the Mountain States of the United States. The band was formed in 1986 with Todd Park Mohr on guitar and vocals, Brian Nevin on drums and vocals and Rob Squires on bass and vocals. The trio had attended Columbine High School together.

While several other tunes approach the melodic hook of this great song, for the most part the album is crowded with chunky frat rock filler. Recommended for die-hard fans only.

Big Head Todd & The Monsters subsequently released the albums Riviera in 2002 and Crimes of Passion in 2004, followed by another live album Live at the Fillmore also in 2004. All of the band’s albums from here on were released on their own Big Records including All the Love You Need in 2007, Rocksteady in 2010, the blues-orientated 100 Years of Robert Johnson in 2011 and 2014’s Black Beehive. Big Head Todd after 27 years continue to put on an awesome live show with their mellow, blues infused rock & roll sound. The band continues to create energy from their fans and long term followers.
