In the final round all of you had a chance to vote for two different albums out of 20 finalists, and the result is: The title of Dark Album Of The Year 2016 goes to: THE MISSION - Another Fall From Grace. Congratulations also to AEON SABLE and their amazing album Hypaerion for second place and SWEET ERMENGARDE who with their album Ex Oblivione reached the third position!!! The battle for the throne was really harsh until the last few days.

Terra Relicta is extremely proud to present our first compilation. Focused on dark ambient, we have procured exclusive tracks from a huge number of artists from veterans to new-comers. We hope you will all enjoy the music and photos on this compilation as much as we do. This is meant to help spread the word about the genre as well as our zine, Terra Relicta Dark Music Webmagazine

An album which didn't display any tricks or sci-fi gimmicks. The full album was a sweeping, brooding, under/other-worldly experience. Collaborators tap into the various themes throughout this massive three hour excursion. The Egyptian aspects can be recognized as they make appearances throughout the album. The nocturnal and winged elements also show their faces quite often. Nyarlathotep is an absolute must have album for any dark ambient fan. Over the three hours of music, there is never a dull moment, everything is orchestrated to perfection.
