No Way Out is the debut studio album by American rapper Puff Daddy. It was released on July 22, 1997 by Bad Boy Records and Arista Records.

Creatively complex and truly unclassifiable, The Way Out continues the Books' tradition of meticulous, existential songcraft, infusing the playfully surreal elements of previous albums with a humorous, childlike excitement. Produced and recorded as always in the Books' home studios, The Way Out expands on the charm and intimacy of past endeavors with a deeper emotional resonance and an ever-impressive marriage of seemingly disparate sound worlds. The CD version comes with a large.

In the Grand Hall of Musical Curiosities, The In Sound From Way Out would be a prime exhibit; it's a great Beastie Boys album completely devoid of vocals. Of course, the Beasties had made no secret of either their instrumental prowess or their proclivity for funky jams on their previous releases. But it had been a couple of years since that album, and they hadn’t even started working on what would become the world-beating Hello Nasty. Fans were hungry for a little something from the band, but perhaps unsurprisingly, the trio decided to tide them over with something almost nobody was expecting

The Way Out is the fourth LP- and the first in half a decade- by the collage -New Age/indescribable duo of guitarist/singer Nick Zammuto and cellist Paul de Jong. Their new album is experimental for sure, but just like their early works, it wasn't designed for slow chin-scratching

The Chocolate Watchband's debut album, No Way Out was also their most heavily Rolling Stones-influenced album, but appreciating the album and what's on it (and what's not) requires some explanation. Released in September of 1967, No Way Out came at the end of the band's first 15 months of existence, a period that encompassed the recording and release of four singles of generally extraordinary quality, and as good as anything heard from any garage band anywhere during that period
