Women and Children First is the third studio album by American hard rock band Van Halen, released on March 26, 1980 on Warner Bros. Produced by Ted Templeman, it was the first to feature compositions written solely by the band, and is described by critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine as " record where the group started to get heavier, both sonically and, to a lesser extent, thematically.

As for the album in general, it only deserves a . /5 because this is not one of Van Halen's best efforts. because Ed forgot them. You can still tell how much talent this band has though, which proves that it's still an ok album. BigHans May 13th 2011.
