E is the fourteenth studio album by the Norwegian extreme metal band Enslaved. It was released on October 13, 2017 by Nuclear Blast. Since the longtime keyboardist, vocalist Herbrand Larsen left the band in late 2016, this is the first album of Enslaved where Håkon Vinje plays the keyboards. This would also be the last album with Cato Bekkevold on drums before he quit in 2018. It was given Norway's 2017 Spellemann Award for best metal album of the year.

In the discussion leading up to its release, its greatness has felt like a foregone conclusion. But RIITIIR isn't a stenograph of Enslaved's earlier successes. For starters, it's the longest album of Enslaved's career. Where most of their records have inched toward the one-hour mark, this one shoots past it. And only three of its eight tracks don't break eight minutes; by comparison, among the 17 collective and very good songs on 2008's Vertebrae and 2010's Axioma Ethica Odini, none did.
