The new Ox album features guest appearances from Fred Squire, Kate Maki and Nathan Lawr. It reportedly sounds like "'Rhinestone Cowboy' meets Bright Eyes with a sprinkle of the Flaming Lips. The 14 tracks include a cover of Neil Young's "Out on the Weekend. See the tracklist below and the cover above, plus scroll to the bottom of the page to hear the single "What I Love About Cars. Also check out the schedule for the band's upcoming Canadian tour, which includes legs with Al Tuck and Forest City Lovers.

The album works as a soundtrack for a film that never ended up getting made. Filmmaker John Milne described the cinematic project as "a '70s buddy movie channelling Keith Carradine and Dennis Hopper. The band is Tuco, and they're imploding. So, Ox set to work writing and recording the music for the film and the result is tUCO, a soundtrack to a film that never came to fruition. The LP kicks off with a cover of Neil Young's "Out on the Weekend," and is followed by 13 tracks, including the first single "What I Like About Cars. Along the way, guests.

The annual mini-festival of the weird takes place on the darkest night of the year! Featuring the 15yr reunion of the original OX lineup (including Mark Browning, Sarah Craig, Ryan Levecque, and Mark 'Dutch' Koetsier) and, once Dark Santa is done his deed, BLACK SABBATH in tights. Oxmas! The Townehouse Tavern · Sudbury, ON, Canada.
