Darkside's first full-length album released on Nico's own Other People label in conjunction with Matador Records is called Psychic. Darkside's Psychic is a watershed moment for the duo, a quantum leap forward from their 3-song debut, 2011's Darkside EP. Go Unlimited. My favourite album of 2013 is Psychic by Darkside. It's electro-dream-sound scape rock with enough ProSounds twiddles, blips and hiss to make it psychedelia. It's also just a good place to escape: electro-trance that, one expects, is played at an after-, after-party in the Balearics or Goa or wherever else rich people go to dance their headaches off.

Darkside was lucky enough to support CARCASS in Prague in February 1994. After that the band started to rehearse for new material, with the objection of recording a cd on their own, the winter passed quickly and in the beginning of March 1994, Darkside were back on the road supporting KRABATHOR on their Blasphemeous Mini Tour 94. In May 1994 finally Darkside started with the recording sessions for their first full-length cd "Melancholia Of A Dying World". The preparations for the fourth Darkside album haven't gone without any troubles. Grögler left the band being replaced by Bernd Pichlbauer.

Darkside (often stylized as DARKSIDE) is the collaboration of electronic musician Nicolas Jaar and Brooklyn t Dave Harrington. Jaar and Harrington first met while they were both students at Brown University. Harrington was recommended to Jaar by frequent collaborator Will Epstein when he was looking for a third musician for his live band, with the three subsequently touring together to support Jaar's 2011 album Space Is Only Noise.
