Pôle started in 1975 as an album by Pôle (2), Kotrill, and a Pôle Records label run by Paul Putti and his wife. Pôle (2) released two albums produced by Putti that year, who then focused on the Pôle Records label after that.

The third issue of Stefan Betke's Pole project just hit the stores, and in step with the album-naming trend started by the band Chicago, it's called CD 3. The cover of Pole's first release was solid blue, the second was bright red, and this one is all yellow. From the outside, this is all that differentiates the three CDs, and many might say that there's even less difference in the music. These people have a point about the sameness; hell, even Betke would admit that Pole has a pretty narrowly defined sonic trademark

Despite the uninteresting titles in this series, these recordings document a significant steps in Betke's artistic evolution. Pole 3 stands head and shoulders above both of Pole's previous efforts. It appears that Betke has finally gotten the recipe just right.

Third Pole by Nenormalizm Crew. The Free Music Archive, a KitSplit company, offers free downloads under Creative Commons and other licenses.

Qualifying is traditionally contested on the Saturday of a Grand Prix weekend to determine the drivers' positions on the starting grid. Historically, there have been a number of different qualifying systems; previously, each driver was only allowed a single lap to set his qualifying time. Drivers currently have to compete in three rounds before pole position is determined. The first round known as Q1 is contested by twenty drivers in an 18-minute session, at the end of which the five slowest cars are eliminated
