Sissy Spacek is one of these three artists: 1) Sissy Spacek is John Wiese and Charlie Mumma (Human Agony, ex-Knelt Rote). Based out of LA, their music goes from harsh noise and noisecore to musique concrète and free improvisation. 2) It may also be a hi-fi ambient art-pop band (late 90's-2002) from Helsinki, Finland. Her screen début was in the 1972 film Prime Cut co-starring Lee Marvin and Gene Hackman.

The self-titled album consists of 79 tracks totalling only 23 minutes of music. Only? Nah, it's enough - and not because of the harshness but of the light-speed cut-and-paste that quickly becomes dizzying. The closest comparison would be John Oswald's Plexure (from his plunderphonics series), although one is also reminded of the way Fantômas piece together tunes from the tiniest riffs
