Whether Neil Sedaka is singing "Oldies" or singing the Great American songbook, his voice rings true. Sedaka sings and each and every song either brings back memories or make its own memories. This is a CD that you have to have in your collection. Certainly one of Neil's best albums - very eclectic and the songs have a very sophisticated quality. The best of Neil Sedaka in the 70's is here: "Love Will Keep Us Together", "Laughter In The Rain", "Bad Blood (duet with Elton John)", "Our Last Song Together" and of course the slow version of "Breakign Up Is Hard To Do" which made Neil of of the very few artists to record and re-record a song and make both #1.

of Sedaka's ten Billboard Hot 100 hits of the period are included (as with Neil Sedaka's Greatest Hits, the missing title is "Amarillo," which reached number 44), along with his versions of songs he wrote that were hits for others: "Love Will Keep Us Together," "Lonely Night (Angel Face)," and "Solitaire. After disappearing from the charts in the mid-'60s, Sedaka forged a comeback in the wake of fellow Brill Building writer Carole King's early-'70s breakthrough. Always a faithful student of the hit parade, Sedaka realized that,.

The Good Times is a 1986 album by American pop singer Neil Sedaka. It was originally issued on the Curb label in the US and by Precision Records and Tapes Ltd. in the UK. With one exception, the album consists almost entirely of material co-written by Neil Sedaka and his daughter Dara, and she is featured singing duets with her father in two tracks. The one exception is a new version of Sedaka's 1975 hit, "The Hungry Years", which he co-wrote with Howard Greenfield. Love Made Me Feel This Way".
