Queen of Hearts is a British comedy film directed by Jon Amiel in 1989. An Italian couple marry for love and elope to London. Four children later, they are running a café in the Italian Quarter. The story is told through the eyes of young Eddie Luca. US film critic Leonard Maltin called Queen of Hearts an "extraordinary and unusual film about an Italian couple who lead a pleasantly quixotic life in England running a family cafe.

The sleazy-sweet Lay It Down hit airwaves during the end of summer 2010, almost ten months prior to the release of Lloyd’s fourth album, King of Hearts. The single’s luminous mix of cunningly delivered pimp talk and old-school elegance indicated that Lloyd was about to somersault out of his creative holding pattern and ascend higher than ever
