This will be a project name for my music. I incorporated the recordings he sent me in this performance which the box called "Among Lawn". I don't know what that means but it seems to resonate with the piece. It is slow, quiet, repetitive and minimal but has a mystical quality that has had me returning to listen since it was recorded. The field recordings are from the south of Burkina Faso, I was completely immersed in a small river hidden between trees and bamboo. Dedicated to the memory of Elisa Lam. Who died in Black Water.
