Eleanor Rigby" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles, released on their 1966 album Revolver and as a single with "Yellow Submarine". The song continued the transformation of the Beatles from a mainly rock and roll- and pop-oriented act to a more experimental, studio-based band.

Eleanor Rigby, died in the church and was buried along with her name, Nobody came. Father McKenzie, wiping the dirt from his hands as he walks from the grave, No one was saved. All the lonely people, Where do they all come from? All the lonely people, Where do they all belong? "Eleanor Rigby". Single by The Beatles. from the album Revolver.

Yellow Submarine is a song from the album Revolver. It also appeared on the Beatles movie with the same name. It was written by Paul McCartney and sung by Ringo Starr (who, it would seem, sang most of the "whimsical" songs written by the Beatles). Although Paul McCartney said that the song was merely a light-hearted children's song, this song was composed when The Beatles were taking drugs. Ringo Starr – Lead and Backing Vocals, Drums, drumstick tapping, sound effects, crowd noise.

Eleanor Rigby is a song about loneliness and depression representing a departure from their early pop love songs. This is an early example of the Beatles taking risks and dabbling in other genres; in this particular example its baroque pop, as made evident by the string arrangements. During the Beatles' experimental phase, their producer George Martin experimented with studio techniques to satiate the Beatles' artistic desires.

It sold 1,200,000 copies in just four weeks, earning The Beatles their 21st gold certification, beating the record previously held by Elvis Presley. Brian Epstein holds a press conference.
