Live in Munich 1977 is a live album and DVD released by the British hard rock band Rainbow in 2006. The concert was recorded in Munich on 20 October 1977, originally filmed to air on the German Rockpalast TV show.
With a few personnel changes, the group went out on tour in 1977 t to support a live album - the membership changes prevented them form working on a third studio album at the time. This live document is a complete live concert without any real production. It's simply the band playing their asses off in October 1977. Here are Ritchie Blackmore, Ronnie James Dio, Cozy Powell, Bob Daisley, and David Stone, roaring through a set unencumbered.

The legendary German rock band, with worldwide album sales in excess of 75 million, perform live on stage with the perhaps even more legendary Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Christian Kolonovits. The concert was a recreation of their Moment Of Glory album, also recorded with the BPO, which took their classic tracks and gave them a full orchestral backing. This documentary recorded in 1977, is a rare film, originally a cinema to life on the road during BJH’s most successful period. Including rare pre-concert sound checks. Barclay James Harvest formed in the summer of 1967.
