The Dead Milkmen are an American punk rock band formed in 1983 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Their original lineup consisted of vocalist and keyboardist Rodney Linderman ("Rodney Anonymous"), guitarist and vocalist Joe Genaro ("Joe Jack Talcum"), bassist Dave Schulthise ("Dave Blood") and drummer Dean Sabatino ("Dean Clean"). The band distinguished itself in the hardcore punk scene of the early 1980s through its jangly punk sound and sardonic humor delivered with thick Philadelphia accents.

The basic formula and approach of the band hadn't changed a lot, but they did get it all together to create another near-perfect single, "Punk Rock Girl. Sprightly and catchy, it mixes the unexpectedly tender, sweet side of the band with the usual drawling humor from Anonymous - everything from accordion to utterly random Beach Boys (or is that the Mamas and the Papas?) references crop up. Beyond that splash,.
Beelzebubba is the fourth full-length studio album by the American satirical punk rock band The Dead Milkmen, released in 1988. The album features their best-known song, "Punk Rock Girl. The song's music video received rotation on MTV. Jon Wurster is mentioned in the song "Stuart". In 1989, the Dead Milkmen released the Smokin' Banana Peels EP, which contained several remixes of the song "Smokin' Banana Peels," originally featured on Beelzebubba. It also featured several previously unreleased songs.
