Stephanie is the fifth studio album by American recording R&B artist Stephanie Mills. It was released in 1981 and produced by James Mtume and Reggie Lucas. The album features hit song "Two Hearts" a duet with Teddy Pendergrass. By default, this fulfilled her contract with 20th Century-Fox Records. Stephanie was nominated for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance at the 1982 24th Grammy Awards. All songs written by James Mtume and Reggie Lucas except where indicated.
Reissue of Tantalizingly Hot, the 1982 best-selling album by R&B/pop chartmaker Stephanie Mills, appearing for the first time as an original album worldwide on CD. Following a late '70s successful run at 20th Century Records when the New York-born singer and actress (known for her award-winning role as Dorothy in the Broadway musical, 'The Wiz') established herself as a Grammy-winning recording artist, Stephanie signed with Casablanca Records in 1982

Tantalizingly Hot is the sixth album by American recording artist Stephanie Mills, released in 1982 and was produced by James Mtume & Reggie Lucas and Ashford & Simpson. It was her first release, by default, on Casablanca Records.
Tantalizingly Hot once again used the production of James Mtume and Reggie Lucas on five cuts. But Ashford & Simpson and Mills herself also produced, making it more well rounded than 1981's Stephanie. Interestingly, though, Mtume and Lucas' cuts turn out the strongest. The aforementioned "Last Night" and "You Can't Run" are both sprightly, danceable soul tunes, with "Last Night" boosting a strong hook.
