Channel-east was founded by Toni Tzschoppe and David Herzig in 2005. The time before they were on separated ways of music until they decided to go together and take common pleasure in electronic music. This music is characterized by harmonious Pad-Sounds and catchy melodies combined with lyrics principal about relationships between human beings.

Humans (stylised as HUM∀NS) is a science fiction television series that debuted on Channel 4. Written by the British team Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley, based on the Swedish science fiction drama Real Humans, the series explores the themes of artificial intelligence and robotics, focusing on the social, cultural, and psychological impact of the invention of anthropomorphic robots called "synths". The series is produced jointly by AMC in the United States, and Channel 4 and Kudos in the United Kingdom.

The album was mixed, produced, and engineered by Christian Donaldson, the guitarist for Cryptopsy. He has done similar work for other bands such as The Agonist, Beneath The Massacre, and Ingested, and he does great as usual. The sound is somewhat polished, but at the same time, has a somewhat raw and unclean edge to it that really ups the music's devastating atmosphere. Speaking of the music itself, "Too Many Humans" is an album reckless and uncompromising in its attack; nearly every minute of this record is filled with aggressive and somewhat technical death metal, making this a stellar fit for anyone looking to get a dark, highly energetic fix. Many highlights are to be found as well: The title track and the subtly titled "No One Would Notice If You Died" immediately throw the audience into the chaos, striking the listeners with utter speed and ferocity throughout.
