Cherish (David Cassidy album). Cherish is the debut solo album by American singer David Cassidy, produced by Wes Farrell and released by Bell Records in early 1972. Cassidy had come to prominence via the TV series The Partridge Family and had sung lead on several hit singles and successful albums under the group moniker.

David Cassidy is David Cassidy's first . album released in 14 years and was his only release on the now-defunct Enigma Records. The album was released in 1990 with the featured single, "Lyin' to Myself. Lyin' to Myself" was the first top-30 hit for David Cassidy in eighteen years. The album reached 136 on the Billboard charts. Tammy Townsend plays Beth's best friend, Pamela, who is obsessed with the glamorous life.
