Originally announced as Gurney and the Burning Books and intended for independent release in mid-2012, the band would later sign to major record label Wind-up Records, leading to them to delay and rename the release. The album was released on June 4, 2013, with the first single, "What Do You Say" being released on May 7, 2013.
Chapter 13: XIII Rock and roll out. I spent a minute or two looking around on the inside of it before figuring out that the blood blades were the handles for the drisk's steering system. I started the engine of the drisk and drove out of the garage into the city streets. I drove for about 5 minutes before I was at the city gates and the gatewatcher waved to the guards to open the gates, allowing me to exit the city. I drove for about 3 hours before I could see the silver lake. It was very beautiful with a surface so smooth that it looked like a giant silver plate.
Loaded is the fourth studio album by American rock band the Velvet Underground, released in November 1970 by Atlantic Records' subsidiary label Cotillion. It was the final album recorded featuring founding member and main songwriter Lou Reed, who left shortly before its release. Loaded was ranked 110 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
We found out that they called it rock & roll. It was so much more vital and alive than any music we had ever heard before that it needed a new category: Rock & roll was much more than new music for us. It was an obsession, and a way of life. Here, we knew, was a sonic cataclysm come bursting (apparently) out of nowhere, with the power to change our lives forever. Because it was obviously, inarguably our music. If Fifties rock & roll failed to realize the creative and social aspirations it so eloquently expressed, on a purely cultural level it succeeded beyond the wildest dreams anyone could have entertained at the time. Not only has it proved more than a passing fad or an episode of youthful folly, it has provided the model, the template, the jumping-off point for virtually every subsequent wave of pop-music innovation.
The song ‘Save Rock and Roll’ is the title track from Fall Out Boy’s fifth album. It features well-known musician Elton John, and is about the mutual desire of both Fall Out Boy and Elton John to save rock music and everything it stands for from being replaced by meaningless ed music. In some ways, the song is also about the challenges people face in life, and how music can be a form of relief in hard times when one is despairing over the state of the world. How was it to collaborate with Elton John?
Belle Hassan and Anton's idyllic Love Island story comes to a crashing halt in Sunday's dramatic episode of the ITV2 show. As the drama unfolded, Anton remained calm as he said 'I'm not gonna fall out with you' but his words leave Belle feeling furious. Walk away then, that's all you do walk away because you don't want people to think you're a bad person. I am what I am and I'll stand by that,' she yelled. Argument: Later the group head out of the villa to the Island Club, where Belle confronts Anton over his behaviour

I bought this one out of curiosity a while ago, because I was wondering how the Siberians were coping with the challenges of advancing the cause of jazz-folk-world fusion in Siberia. The first surprise was that these Siberians were coping remarkably well - if you picture yourself Oregon at its crest, just a little more imaginative, vigorous and uninhibited. The second surprise was that the album had been recorded in NYC, not in a log hut in the middle of the endless taiga forest. To sum up: the album is flawless technically, and highly entertaining (for those who like this kind of music).
