Joy was Phish's first studio album since Undermind in 2004, and their first since they reunited in March 2009. Maria isn't the tune for me - It's all about Mo R'ayo (On being grateful for divine blessing) killer - Lemmy Jackson laying down some mad synth. Always nice to find a Nigerian boogie record that's affordable and dance floor friendly. Maria is okay - pitching it down is a great suggestion.

a perfect example of how misleading discogs ratings can be
OTANO OTANO
And a perfect example of a one-star rating without any kind of supporting statement. Weak sauce. This record, to these ears, is still fresh as hell.

Definitely not worth hundreds of dollars but the track Oh Maria (especially when pitched down a bit) will melt a dfloor.

there was a guy advertising this as a 5/5 "monster boogie" asking 200+ w/o any samples provided. this comment was probably the only thing i could do to make a curious enthusiast have another thought about buying this record for such a price as it's pretty weak to my ear indeed

What does that mean? Who rated it? I'm guessing you didn't enjoy this one.
