In that same light, Reflections by XTR HUMAN is digging deep into those conflicting parts and trying to find the equilibrium. At the center of their songs are bending atmospheres with driving progressions, taking the hypnotic trance of their music into an ear worm friendly memorable palace. Reflections it out on September 7th via Blackjack Illuminist Records. Since the release of their debut album in 2014 German post-punks XTR HUMAN have spent a lot of time on the road touring across Europe, having the time of their lives, only to realise that writing new songs came up short. Bandleader Johannes Stabel hit the brakes and finally took the necessary time-out - Reflections is the impressive result, and it’s XTR HUMAN most atmospheric work to date.

XTR Human is a music project from Stuttgart, Germany that was founded in 2012. It currently consists of the musicians John Stabel (vocals & guitar), Valerio Kuhl (keyboard) and Mathias Völkel (bass). They describe their music style as post-punk and cold wave. Dystopic ethereal guitar sounds with lofty synth harmonies, powerful bass lines and piercing vocals: XTR HUMAN capture the esprit of postpunk with overtones of coldwave.
