MG is the second solo studio album by English musician and Depeche Mode member Martin Gore. It was released on 24 April 2015 by Mute Records and consists of sixteen electronic instrumentals.

Martin Lee Gore (born July 23, 1961 in Dagenham, Essex, England) is a member of the band Depeche Mode since it's inception in 1980. He is the primary songwriter, and also plays keyboards and guitar. He is also the backing vocalist, and sometimes the lead singer. In 2003, Martin released Counterfeit, a solo cover album follow-up to his 1989 Counterfeit EP. Both feature his takes on other people's material, and he has stated publicly before that he considers himself not the most prolific songwriter, and prefers to keep his own material for Depeche Mode albums.

Counterfeit² is the first full-length studio album by Martin Gore, the primary songwriter for the band Depeche Mode, and his second release (his first being Counterfeit . Released April 28, 2003 in Europe and April 29, 2003 in the US, Counterfeit² is an album featuring 11 covers of songs that Gore considered influential to his own compositions for Depeche Mode.

He is one of the founding members of the synth-pop band Depeche Mode and is its primary songwriter. Gore is the band's keyboardist and guitar player, contributes backing vocals, and occasionally provides lead vocals. In 1999, Gore received the Ivor Novello Award from the British Academy of Songwriters, Composers and Authors for "International Achievement".
