1987's Wildest Dreams finds this Canadian semi-progressive band leaning toward a more radio friendly sound. With songs ranging from ballads to perky pop tempos, Wildest Dreams is a far cry from their keyboard-induced music of the early '80s. Michael Sadler's voice is still both a combination of gentleness and rigidity, but the music doesn't seem to fit his vocal climate as it did on past releases. Fans that know Saga will want to leave this album behind and stick to releases from their glory years.

In fact this album always was the conformation of the downfall of Saga, at least when we are talking about the great Saga I once knew and loved so much. This is a very mediocre album by them, it was already showing clearly with their previous (Behaviour) but this one is even less. The compositions are really below their standard and it's almost commercial. The latter album struck me as a departure from the typical Saga sound with its slower tempo and larger quantity of ballads, but Wildest Dreams is once again more of a Rock album. A weak one, but still! The songs are a bit more energetic and "bombastic" again, but there is not yet any sign of the band returning to progressive Rock.

My Wildest Dreams is the debut studio album by English singer-songwriter Claire Richards, released on 1 February 2019, through Sony Music Entertainment. The album was preceded by three singles; "On My Own", "End Before We Start", "Shame On You" and one promotional single, "Deep Waters". In July 2015, the singer released an acoustic version of "One for Sorrow". The acoustic version of the track was recorded for an event honouring Steps' producer Pete Waterman

Wildest Dreams is the seventh studio album by the Canadian progressive rock band Saga, originally released in 1987. It was their first album without original drummer Steve Negus and longtime keyboardist and vocalist Jim Gilmour. The band signed with Atlantic Records after the Behaviour album and was seen as a promising act for Atlantic after having three solid and successful albums come out during the early and mid-1980s. The record label spent a great deal of money promoting the band in the United States, a market that Saga had yet to penetrate. Plans included a massive tour, a music video produced for the single "Only Time Will Tell" and on the production of the album itself. Despite all of this, the album went largely unnoticed in the .
