Listen free to The Rolling Stones – Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out! (Jumpin' Jack Flash - Live "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out" Version, Carol - Live "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out" Version and more). The Rolling Stones are an English rock group that formed in London in 1962. First popular in Europe, they quickly became successful in North America during the "British Invasion" of the mid-60s. Since then, their worldwide sales are estimated at more than 200 million albums. In 1989, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2004, they ranked number 4 in Rolling Stone magazine's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.
Ya-Ya’s is the best live album ever because it contains versions of songs that were better than the originals. Little Queenie, midnight rambler, Love in Vain, Sympathy, Carol, Street Fighting Man– and you could argue about the rest. JJF has a nastiness about it, which is not evident on the original recording. Little Queenie maybe the best version of a Chuck Berry song ever. And I always loved the classic little clips from Jagger, I think I’ve lost a button off my trousers, hope they don’t fall down. You don’t want my trousers to fall down now do ya!! No other live album comes close . That is not the best live recording, not even The Rolling Stones best live album. Still Life recorded in Hampton Virginia in like 81 is to m. est live album goes to Allman Brothers Band, live at the Fillmore.
The Rolling Stones - The Get Yer Ya-Ya Out! Apple Acetate. An important piece of the "Rosetta Stone" necessary to further decipher the mysteries trapped within the grooves of Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out! has surfaced. It is none other than the infamous "Apple Acetate" otherwise known as the early test pressing of the Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out! album. Differences heard in the acetate unearth further clues about the evolution of this timeless recording. Very clean splicing was done to accomplish this. Spliced at track 5 at 9:28 and track 6 at 5:42. All "Ya-Ya's" vocal overdubs present in music that was recorded live at MSG on November 27, 1969.
