God’s purpose in sending the ten plagues upon Egypt was to convince Pharaoh to set the Hebrews free and allow them to worship God. Video summary of the 10 plagues of Egypt. Unfortunately Pharaoh didn’t let the Hebrews go free and Egypt suffered extreme devastation because of the 10 plagues. There was not much left in Egypt after the plagues and the parting of the Red Sea. The Egyptians had lost their army, crops, cattle and even their firstborn sons. Note: the 10 plagues can be found in the Bible from Exodus 7:14 to Exodus 12:36. List of the ten plagues.
ELDER Plagues and Woes (Bulletproof) A killer metal lead erupts from the otherwise funky tribal modern rock of the first track "Sugar Medicine. The CD continues with the mostly down-tuned guitar energy and competent vocals - many times not unlike Allan Aguirre's. Also cool is the continuous auxiliary percussion: congas, bells, and more congas, which give the record more of an alive feel next to its plodding drums and all around foreboding texture. It was one of those ahead-of-their-time modern rock bands that never really got the recognition it deserved. While generally staying in the hard modern rock category, this product also enjoys bits of variety, with a few vocals akin to PFR's, an occasional soft keyboard/acoustic guitar moment, background vocals of all kinds, and a few disco wah-drenched solos.
