Arbete & fritid is Arbete och fritid's fourth studio album(ProgArchives has forgotten the record "Slottsbergets hambo � andra valser") and was released in 1973 on MNW(Musikn�tet Waxholm), the biggest progressive label in the early seventies' Sweden. I don't count Ostpusten- V�stpusten in this.

Arbete Och Fritid biography A Swedish rock kaleidoscope ARBETE OCH FRITID, founded in 1969 by the key player, cellist, composer Ove KARLSSON, had established themselves by means of versatile rock inquiry, based upon purified Swedish folk music. The members, frequently changed except Ove depending upon music styles, had had the point in common that they had been remarkably influenced by experimental jazz, underground rock, and also avantgarde, minimalism like John Cage, Terry Riley, or La Monte Young. And the same could be said of their albums, with the eponymous one as a debut released in 1970. Totally seven albums (including one live album "Ur sp�r") have been released, each of that has a different soundscape from other.

This album was recorded and released in Sweden in 1973. The 2003 CD reissue on Music Network's MNW imprint adds 20 minutes of bonus material in the form of a single piece recorded by the Swedish National Radio in 1972. At this point in time, the group consisted of Tord Bengtsson, Torsten Eckerman, Bosse Skoglund, lyricist Roland Keijser, and leader/artistic mastermind Ove Karlsson.
