Those who they are creeping out, are not. There are no happy endings to these pranks. A hidden-camera comedy that puts unsuspecting people in the cross hairs of comics Jim Florentine, Don Jamieson, KC Armstrong and their band of hilarious predators. In Meet the Creeps, Florentine and Jamieson are out to make people as uncomfortable as possible while capturing it all on camera.

Florentine, along with co-creep Don Jamieson and a cast of comedian friends, take the hidden-camera genre to new levels of annoyance. Superficially, Meet the Creeps may seem like Punk’d. But in Florentine’s world, no celebrity douchebag ever comes out running and screaming like his panties are in a bunch to tell the victims they’ve been punk’d. While Florentine and Jamieson shopped Meet the Creeps to Comedy Central, home of Crank Yankers, the network didn’t pick it up for broadcast. They passed on the pilot, he said, though it did play as a Web series on ComedyCentral. We are shopping it around to different places. We’ll see. Everything on TV, including cable, is so safe these days that there might not be a home for it.

Jim Florentine is a stentorian comic who is at times so deadpan its possible to miss the joke entirely. His success got him a recurring role on Comedy Central’s Crank Yankers, where puppets made crank phone calls to hilarious effect and Florentine voiced that characters Special Ed and Bobby Fletcher.
