1999 is the debut mixtape by American rapper Joey Badass. It was released on June 12, 2012. It features production by Chuck Strangers, Lewis Parker, Lord Finesse, MF Doom and J Dilla, among others. The mixtape also features guest appearances from members of Pro Era, a hip hop collective of which Joey Badass is a member. The mixtape is based heavily around musical samples. Music videos have been released for "Hardknock", "Survival Tactics", "FromdaTombs" and "Waves".

Honestly I love Joey and Unorthodox but in my opinion it wasnt Premiers best work or close to it, I kinda wish they had done a bring it on style beat and the song had an actual point to it other then justthe fact that they would be working together, still a great tracks but the first ever Premier and Bada$$ track should. have been one of the greatest tracks ever and even though it was sick it wasn’t there, Musicvideo had a cool effect too that I loved but the video is kinda disapointing too in the fact all it is is them standing around and stuff
