David Joseph Campbell OAM is an Australian singer, stage performer and television presenter. He has performed and recorded many different genres of music from rock to classics. He is the son of rock and soul singer Jimmy Barnes.

This is David Campbell's second solo album and it's a powerful emotional ride. His voice has an exposed edge to it, whether in a ballad like "Never Really Mine To Lose" or in the fast-driving anthem "Taking The Wheel". The range of material has a touch of a singer in a hurry to sing everything at once but the intensity of his interpretations is never in doubt. David Campbell is one of the best talents Australia has unleashed on the world. Those of us lucky enough to have seen him act in his early career knew there was an exceptional talent in the making-when we heard him sing-WOW! "Taking the wheel" is a much more contemporary CD than the first, the addition of pure adult pop like Don Walker's "It will always be you" has added an extra bow to this remarkable singer's repetoire(any one has seen him live recently will know a bit of rock is now thrown in as well)and his versions of "yard sale".
