Along with Explores Your Mind and 1975's Al Green Is Love, a significant story is told of passionate love for God and loved ones, a ribbon binding them with respective singles Soon As I Get Home (herein), The Love Sermon (1975), and Take Me to the River (1974). In fact, as The Mrs noted, the sequncing is so tight, so finely woven with soul and spirit, you feel the albums blending, as the Reverand takes you on a journey, masterfully telling uplifting stories of love and joy.
