The Mickey Mouse Club is an American variety television show that aired intermittently from 1955 to 1996 and returned in 2017 to social media. Created by Walt Disney and produced by Walt Disney Productions, the program was first televised for four seasons, from 1955 to 1959, by ABC. This original run featured a regular but ever-changing cast of mostly teen performers. ABC broadcast reruns weekday afternoons during the 1958–1959 season, airing right after American Bandstand.

Find out how to reach your childhood dreams. The MMC (AKA The All New Mickey Mouse Club). Photos: Disney Pictures. If you can dream it, you can do it. Always remember that this whole thing was started by a mouse. It seems appropriate that in a discussion of making your dreams come true, that I look back and discuss the Mickey Mouse Club, a show created by Walt Disney. A man who believed in imagination and making dreams a reality. Looking back, maybe I wanted to be Walt Disney who first created the Mickey Mouse Club from his own imagination?) I wanted to embrace my creativity and be around other kids my age who loved to create or perform in various ways. The MMC represented a beautiful ideal.

On Club Mickey Mouse, we’re not playing a character, we’re being ourselves. On top of all that, as Head Mouseketeer, Charis has an additional role to play – looking out for the younger Mouseketeers. I’m a friend to them 90% of the time and I’m stern with them the remaining 10%, says the bubbly Charis. When I’m serious, they would know. The kids were very professional. The process of equipping the cast and filming the show took about two months. I can relate to her because I went into (singing on) YouTube as my career even though my parents wanted me to be a doctor. Favourite idol: Taeyeon from Girls Generation. Her voice is to die for. Faiz Age: 15 From: Johor Favourite Disney character: Woody (Toy Story 3) because he’s an understanding, rational leader to all his friends, and I look up to him. I want to be a leader someday too. Favourite idol: I admire Shawn Mendes.
Luckily, Club Mickey Mouse just released a dance tutorial for their new song, so now we can all sway like Mouseketeers! We’ll be watching this over and over until we nail all the steps: We may not be the most coordinated humans on the dance floor, but this dance tutorial is getting us that much closer to fulfilling our dancing dreams (and giving us new moves for our repertoires). And for that, we thank you, Club Mickey Mouse! Scroll down to watch the full music video for Ready Set Go!, featuring former Mouseketeer JC Chasez!
The Mickey Mouse Club is a former but long-running American variety television show that began in 1955, produced by Walt Disney Productions and televised by the American Broadcasting Company, featuring a regular but ever-changing cast of teenage performers, known as Mouseketeers. The Mickey Mouse Club was created by Walt Disney.
Mickey Mouse Club was hosted by Jimmie Dodd, a songwriter and the Head Mouseketeer, who provided leadership both on and off screen. In addition to his other contributions, he often provided short segments encouraging young viewers to make the right moral choices. These little homilies became known as "Doddisms". Roy Williams, a staff artist at Disney, also appeared in the show as the Big Mouseketeer. The opening theme, "The Mickey Mouse March," was written by the show's primary adult host, Jimmie Dodd. It was also reprised at the end of each episode, with the slower dbye verse. A shorter version of the opening title was used later in the series, in syndication, and on Disney Channel reruns.
