London-based three-piece Blown produce a fine mix of intelligent, thoughtful rapped lyrics set to a slow hypnotic hiphop backing. Many of the tracks are further influenced, albeit subtly, by the band's Asian roots. All three of the band's members contribute vocals, with the best tracks featuring Farhad (Fred) Amirahmadi and Houman Sadri's vocals leavened by Niki Stoker's sweeter backing. Standout tracks include "Shine On You", "Orange Coloured Day Dreams", and the more energetic "Miles and Miles (Ahead)".
