1977 BBC Top of the Pops with their version of The Trammps "Hold Back the Night" from The Pink Parker EP. Комментарии. Can someone download, "The Heat in Harlem" from the album "The Parkerilla",,,its a great song, just cant find it anywhere, thx. 6 years назад. Most any cover he does w/ The Rumour just takes the original to another level; Trammps, Jackson 5, Howlin' Wolf whatever. The only one he ever did that was kind of a head-scratcher was seeing him do an acoustic version of Stairway to Heaven. I love him to death but that did NOT fly.
There may be no real purpose behind Polygram Special Markets' Hold Back the Night, but it nevertheless is a surprisingly effective sampler of Graham Parker's classic Mercury years. Sure, there are a number of great songs missing, but enough of the masterworks - "White Honey," "Howlin' Wind," "Don't Ask Me Questions," "Heat Treatment," "Hold Back the Night" - are here, along with some good album cuts
