About Please Mr. Former As I Lay Dying members Tommy Garcia (vocals), Ruben Gutierrez (guitar), and Brandon Hays (bass) formed eclectic punk rockers Please Mr. Gravedigger in 2002 with Richie Lauridsen (guitar), and went as far as recording a demo before deciding to get serious and recruit Johnny Upton (drums) and Thomas Kosich (keyboards). The following year saw the release of a 7" through Phantoms Records, and in 2004 Please Mr. Gravedigger signed with Pluto Records and unleashed a full-length debut entitled Here's to the Life of the Party.
